As part of the allowence of us being able to create this video and use the song, I have written to the artists music label RCA to request permission, explaining why we would like to use the song.
It is important to gain permission because if you use a copyrighted work without the appropriate permission, you may be violating (usually called "infringing") the owner's rights to that work. Infringing someone else's copyright may subject you to legal action, including being forced to stop using the work or paying financial damages.
